In October 2011, CPA firm REDW Business and Financial Resources completed its Class A, 45,000 SF, two-story corporate headquarters, at the corner of Jefferson NE and Masthead streets in Journal Center. “It’s a great time to build. We are capitalizing on low interest rates, low construction costs, and the city of Albuquerque’s impact fee waiver,” Ron Rivera, REDW’s Managing Principal, said in a statement. “It’s a positive sign that New Mexico businesses can expand even in a recovering economy.” Titan Development built the southwest contemporary building that achieved LEED Gold through the use of photovoltaic panels. The building was designed to accommodate REDW future growth by including 5,000 SF per floor or raw, shell space which can be improved in the future based on REDW growth requirements. REDW is a 58-year-old certified public accounting and business consulting firm considered among the top 10 in the Southwest. It currently has about 135 employees serving a wide range of clients, including publicly and privately held businesses, tribes and tribal enterprises, local and state government agencies, nonprofits, financial institutions and individuals.
